Bond 25′ gets official title and release date for Daniel Craig’s final 007 movie

Title for the 25th James Bond movie was falsely reported across a multitude of Internet outlets. Well, turns out the flick isn’t called Shatterhand after all: Daniel Craig’s final turn as Bond is titled No Time to Die. And it’s pretty much perfect.

The movie features Daniel Craig in his fifth performance as fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, based on an early draft by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

Premise

James Bond has left active service when his friend Felix Leiter enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that the scientist was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before.

The movie also stars Rami Malek as the villain, Ana De Armas as the latest Bond girl, Lashana Lynch as the new agent who takes on the 007 code name, former Maxim cover model Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, and Ralph Fiennes.

After an April 3 U.K. premiere, No Time to Die opens in U.S. theaters on April 8, 2020.
