The world’s first guitar-shaped hotel will open in South Florida this year.
The Hard Rock chain of hotels and casinos are pretty much dedicated to making guests feel like rock stars, and the latest addition to the Hard Rock brand is taking the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle to a whole new level.
Forming part of a $1.5 billion expansion at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the 638-room development has been designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, complete with guitar faces and brightly lit strings.
Reaching 450 feet into the sky, the building has been outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panes.
Guests will be able to enjoy a 10-acre lagoon-style pool, a lazy river, a 12,000-square-foot rooftop bar, lots of shopping, a 41,000-square-foot spa, a comedy theater, 14 restaurants to choose from, and, of course, 3,000 slot machines and 228 game tables at the casino
The venue will host more than 100 shows per year, including concerts, boxing matches, theater shows, and more. The hotel’s grand opening is set to have a concert with Maroon 5 as the headliner.
