Palmer Johnson Khalilah: On Board the First All-Carbon 49 Metre Superyacht.
Khalilah is a 49 m / 160′10″ luxury motor yacht. She was built by Palmer Johnson in 2014. With a beam of 11 m and a draft of 2.1 m, she has a carbon hull and carbon superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 490 tons. She is powered by MTU engines of 2600 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots. Khalilah’s maximum range is estimated at 1500 nautical miles.
Accommodation is comprised of two luxurious master suites, two VIP staterooms as well as a twin stateroom and can sleep up to 10 guests. A crew of up to nine can also be accommodated for on board Khalilah.
Other outdoor spaces include a large 110-square-metre lounge and dining area, a beach club, a large bathing platform as well as a raised spa pool and sunpads in the bow. With a custom seven-metre gold tender, also comes with a variety of water toys including a jetpack, hoverboard, wakeboard, jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards and inflatables.
