Project Escalade Motor Yacht

The world’s first trimonoran Project Escalade Motor Yacht by Baran Akalin.

Yacht designer Baran Akalin has revealed a 25-metre trimonoran yacht concept called Escalade 25. The vessel sports a trimonoran hull which combines the qualities of a trimaran with a monohull hull and has been developed by the Dutch company Anwigema.

Escalade 25 is a result of twenty years of research. Akalin has been always seeking perfection by mixing architecture and industrial design with luxury functional systems. Her proven hull by the Netherlands government passed many water tests in the test pool.

Escalade 25 features aggressive style mixed with luxury design. Her spacious saloon includes a galley, dinner lounge areas with two daily bathrooms, as well as a giant cinema screen. The trimonoran hull shape offers benefits including a speed increase of up to 30%, fuel savings to help ensure a long range, high stability for safe and comfortable sailing, generous deck spaces and less water resistance than traditional monohulls.

A tender and two Jet Skis can accommodate in the boat’s spacious garage. The elegant interiors of Escalade 25, which have been penned by British designer Celia Sawyer, have “white, black and brown tones” with marble and custom-made cabinets.

The yacht offers accommodation on board up to 8 guests in 4 staterooms, including a master cabin at the bow, VIP cabin, two double guest cabins on the lower deck. Escalade 25 also is capable of keeping a crew of 2 members

Powered by a hydraulic propulsion system, Escalade 25 would be expected to reach a speed of 42 knots.
