0-60 mph is hit in under 2.3 seconds, and it will go onto a top speed of 230+ mph, meet Naran V8 Coupe 1,048 HP Four-Seater Hypercar.
There’s a new four-seater hypercar on the road, Koenigsegg Gemera got a competitor. Meet the Naran Automotive 2+2 Hyper-Coupé, a 1,048 HP GT3-inspired machine that can comfortably seat four adults.
The lead designer is Jowyn Wong, the same person responsible for the Apollo IE and De Tomaso P72. On the mechanical side, EY3 Engineering is bringing all the parts together and Daniel Mense, who worked on the record-setting Nio EP9, is overseeing everything.
The Naran is powered a gasoline-burning 5.0-liter V8 engine, nestled in front of the driver though it’s back far enough to be considered a front-mid-engine design. Naran Automotive says the engine is a bespoke creation from Racing Dynamics, and with the help of two turbochargers it generates a claimed 1,062 horsepower (781 kilowatts). An all-wheel-drive system sends power front and rear.
The car itself will be limited to only 49 units and will be built in Germany. Interestingly enough, the Naran will make use of the BMW M8’s chassis and suspension setup, albeit with a few serious modifications to the axles, subframes, adjustable roll bars
