Lazareth LM 847: The 470-horsepower, tilting 4-wheel motorcycle.

The LM 847 is build by Lazareth Motoring, a French/Swiss company. The name is a reference to its power: eight cylinders and 4.7L of displacement.

The LM 847 is powered by a 4.7L V8 Maserati engine with 32 valves producing a massive 470 hp at 7,000 rpm and 490 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. Flanking the cylinder heads are stainless headers that are obviously hand fabricated. They are almost a mirror image side to side, adding to the symmetry found everywhere on this machine.

The rear end is a work of engineering genius, a TFX shock connecting both wheels and swingarms transversely, each rear wheel powered with its own chain. The tail section comes from Ducati Panigale which rather seems fitting.

Braking comes from two 8-piston callipers on 420mm diametre perimeter discs. To improve ergonomics and braking precision, the brake levers are reversed. Equipped with a Michelin Power Cup Evo tires which are among the best in the world.

There will only be 10 examples of the LM 847 and seven of them are available now. List price is about a whopping $215,000.
