Wick’s car of choice is a custom Mustang Mach 1, and now you can own one, thanks to Classic Restorations.
The Oklahoma-based shop has the official blessing of the FoMoCo to produce these replicas, each one starting with an original 1969-1970 body shell — or a new reproduction body if the buyer desires.
Dubbed the Hitman, each car comes with a new 5-liter Coyote V8 with Boss 302 intake, making up to 1,000 horsepower for top-level option. The classic body doesn’t mean classic ride, and you’ll find coilover suspension front and rear and a Tremec manual or automatic transmission options. The Hitman is available for order now.
Interior amenities include a JVC head unit wired to a Kicker amp, speakers and subwoofer, a woodgrain aluminum steering wheel, five-point seat belts, 200 mph gauges, TMI Mustang interior panels and a cosmetic rollbar.
John Wick’s classic 1969 Mustang was just one element that made the 2014 breakout hit thriller an instant classic–along with neo-noir cinematography, non-stop killing sprees, and star Keanu Reeves’ badass antiheroic antics.
Classic Recreations literature specifically references director Chad Stahelski’s shoot-’em-up saga in naming the special-edition paint scheme “Wick” and giving the vehicle a “Hitman” moniker.
Each 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 “Hitman” is built to order by Classic Recreations and can be further customized in different color schemes, but the base price is $169,000. Click here to learn more.
