This stripped-down, 220 horsepower superbike is based on Ducati’s most powerful production model – Ducati Panigale V4
Its equipped with high-and-wide handlebars and has been stripped of its fairings to flaunt the monstrous 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale four-cylinder.
It’s a barely there 178kg in standard form, but an even madder V4 S version weighs 172kg and produces 220bhp, yielding a power-to-weight ratio to make even a Bugatti Chiron weep. And peak power is delivered just shy of 13,000rpm, with an Akrapovic exhaust system ensuring it sounds as off-the-chain as it’ll feel.
A 6-axis inertial measurement platform instantly detects the bike’s roll, yaw and pitch angles. These on-board electronics help control every part of the ride, including starts, acceleration and braking, traction and cornering.
Ducati says the minimalist full-LED headlight its V-shaped daytime running lights shares similarities with the front end of the Panigale V4 while also evoking “the crazy grin of the Joker.”
The S version features Marchesini forged wheels and Öhlins electrically controlled suspension (43 mm NIX30 forks and TTX36 monoshock) and steering damper. The latter uses the second-generation Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system which, in addition to making full use of the IMU 6D provides a more rider-friendly interface.
