This car, the Ferrari 348 TB Zagato started life as a 348 TB, therefore it is powered by a 3.4-liter V-8 making 300 horsepower. Top speed was 171 mph and 60 arrives in about 5.6 seconds.
In 1991 Zagato planned to build about 20 of these – but only ten were ever completed. Among the upgrades are wider air intakes, a new rear fascia, a glass engine cover, and a new front bumper with insect-like lights, tiny microphone-like grilles, and an offset intake. Also added was Zagato’s signature “double-bubble” roof design, as well as a set of black five-spoke wheels. Nothing underneath the skin of the car was touched.
It’s one of the rarest road-going Ferraris of the 1990s, this 348 would be a significant addition to any collection, especially one with an interest in the work of Carrozzeria Zagato.
