Vintner and motorcycle aficionado Marcelo Doffo is selling part of his collection of gorgeous Italian sport bikes at auction in Las Vegas later this month.
Doffo, an immigrant to California from Argentina who was raised on the land and on bikes by his immigrant Italian family, has made wine and motorcycles his lifeblood – after family, of course – and the passion shows in both.
The listing includes a 749R, 999R, 1098R, & Panigale R. All of the bikes are said to be flaw free, except for the 1098R which has an odd finish on the black aluminum triple tree and swingarm. Each of these bikes was well-loved by the press and the public alike when it was released, and now you’ve got a chance to start a hell of a Ducati collection with one auction.
At Bonhams’ Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction on January 23, over a dozen of Doffo’s bikes will be offered for sale. But it’s the seven mouthwatering Ducatis though that are taking center stage.
