Upcoming Aston Martin Lagonda All-Terrain Electric Car 2020.

One year ago here in Geneva, Aston Martin announced that the legendary Lagonda marque would be brought back as a new luxury brand exclusively dedicated to zero-emission vehicles.

Lagonda is a renowned British luxury car brand that got established in the year 1906. It has been possessed by Aston Martin since 1947. Aston Martin has been focusing on manufacturing highly efficient electric vehicles and SUVs. It is going to be the first electric car by Lagonda that is planned to go into production next year. Lagonda is owned by Aston Martin since the time India became independent. This company now aims to be one of the ‘world’s first zero-emission luxury brand in the market. It will be based on the electrification plan for Aston Martin.

Accommodations for all four occupants are extremely elegant, with large bucket seats and spacious surroundings. Front seats swivel toward the rear for group interaction during autonomous driving. This concept reveals a large-sized backend overhang, that has curved and clean beltline that runs across the rear door panel. As revealed in the concept, the backside of this car also integrates innovative light-emitting diodes, that shine in the downward direction and are concealed from view. The light from these diodes is reproduced in the proper direction by way of properly placed mirrors.

This all-electric Lagonda model has been powered with a 5.9-liter V-12 Aston engine. You will see rear-hinged back doors, and opening roof panels, that makes entering inside and exiting from the back seats quite easy and dignified. The design of Aston Martin’s electric version of Lagonda features upfront and traditional style air vents with speaker grilles. There is a radical touch provided for the circular-shaped metal key of the car that floats when it is not in use. It is suspended over an electromagnet.

Though the exact price of this car is yet to be announced, but it is expected to go over $685,000. First production model that is ready to go on sale in April 2020.
