A Philippine customer has ordered an exclusive custom version of the Airbus ACH160 corporate helicopter for use in the Southeast Asia and Pacific region.
Airbus is creating a luxury version of its H160 helicopter: the ACH160, which starts at around $14 million for business or private use.
According to Airbus the ACH160 is the “premium” iteration of the H160 and the latest aircraft in the ACH line, which includes six other corporate helicopters that can be tailored per customer. Despite these differences in luxury levels, both the ACH160 and H160 will be available deliveries later this year.
Airbus’ in-house design team and Pagasus Design created a luxurious interior with large windows for more natural light and views of the outside.
Its Blue Edge five-bladed main rotor and an additional canted Fenestron rotor, are paired with state-of-the-art Safran turboshaft engines delivering a cruising speed of 172.6 mph and a range of 512 miles, for an unparalleled flying experience along with fuel efficiency and low noise levels.
